ATT Vox!! Why does my VOX account slow to a crawl in off peak hours?

The new VOX accounts are brilliant (100GB capped) BUT off peak when I want to game or download some torrents, it slows to a crawl, worse than MWEB's shaped account.

Forumites, please post similar expereinces in this thread.
 
I think they are getting overloaded. It is not my exchange. I have 2 small backup accounts with 2 other providers, and when switching to them, top speed.
 
This makes me sad. I was planning on moving to Vox because of all the great things I heard but recently it seems that it's not great anymore. Numerous complaints and they all seem to have started around the time the 100GB Fatpipe special launched.

I guess the search continues.

Still worth it for me. I can play my game again which was impossible with MWEB.

My Mweb Premium is actually OK in the evenings for gaming. The problem I have is streaming just about anything. Twitch doesn't even work on medium settings without constant buffering.
 
Also noticed it getting noticeably slower in the evenings/night. :-/
Hope they can sort it out.
 
Can confirm they are super inconsistent in the evening regarding gaming. Slows to an absolute crawl (1000 ping in Dota) then will be fine for 10 minutes, then crawl again.

Can confirm there is telkom maintenance in the area, but using other ISPs flawlessly on Dota servers prove that Vox has terrible consistency regarding quality of the connection. It's not that it's always slow, in which case it's arguably the exchange, but that there are periods (like 5-10 minutes) where the connection to servers are magnificent. But then it all goes to hell and I have 1000 ping and massive packet loss. This is worse than slow internet; it's just madly inconsistent.
 
Struggled on Tuesday and Wednesday to stream Hulu but last night was fine, the was just after 7pm to 9pm.
