Why the hell didn't they just introduce the permanent offers now?

This waiting spree will be their downfall...

This is quite pathetic, now anyone signing a new contract is likely to go with Vodacom, why would they not? I wonder if it has anything to do with waiting for ICASA approval?
 
Well I stopped buying their 1GB this month.. without the "extra" GB it's just not worth it.. I've dropped down to the 500MB bundle.. :(

MTN is just lucky that Vodacom does not have 3G coverage in my area... otherwise I'd switch in a blink.. :cool:
 
Yes, their coordination seems a bit poor, but hopefully they will release their Vodacom beater soon. I've been waiting for a more competitive 500Mb bundle.
 
One step forward, two steps back. Don't they realise that this is a fiercely competitive environment and they need to be pulling out the big guns and not sharpening their army knife! I'm hoping the new deal will knock our socks off but I doubt it because Vodacom's offer is pretty low IMO. Maybe they spent too much money on their new TV ads and need to rake in a few bucks to cover the costs :D
 
MTN don't seem like a bunch of retards (arguably) so I just get the feeling they were trying to call Vodacom's bluff, and then got stuck with a low pair. :-P
