If the next few months are going to be critical to Cellc, I am doing my little bit to help them down the tubes. I am cancelling each and every contract I had with them as and when they become due for renewal.
I supported them originally because I wanted them to succeed, to let us have another competitor in our monopilised telecomms market, but now I have had it with the poor quality calls and useless data network! Their call centre is also a joke!
And once burned, twice shy. As much as I hate Telkom, Neotel will have a major job convincing me to become a subscriber. If I remember correctly Cellc also launched ages after the date they were allowed to? And there was also shareholder squabbles?
As for Virgin mobile, it looks like this is the only country where Virgin delivers a worse service than the incumbants. Sir Richard came, launched and ran away from here.
