Has Minister backtracked on SAT3 exclusivity?

This woman is playing games with an entire country's future. The cable can probably be declared essential tomorrow if she really wants to but nope, she persists in setting us back even further.

Surely with enough support, one could motion for a vote of no confidence and force her out of office.

With every day that passes, things are looking more and more bleak. I'm starting to honestly think that maybe it's time to leave South Africa, before there is a total collapse, making it then near impossible to leave.

Oh FFS....

Someone show me where her offices are?... she needs to get klapped by sundry large people. We need to start investigating legal options to get this stupid creature removed from office.

I guess Telkom got their way again. That "soon" in her Directive is another word for imminent

Alltogether now!!
...SIGH!!
Well hopefully I would have left the country by 2010 ANYWARE is better than here!!! :(

This bitch drives our heads further into the past! Catch a wake up Ivy! **** take your pension and fizzle away on some lost island (known for Tsnuamis)

Ja wat, I don't get my hopes up about anything anymore in this country..

And people still believe that the World Cup will be successful, LOLOL.. We cant even sort our selfs out, never mind a few millions tourists.

VIVI Ivy, VIVI

If she doesn't declare it an essential service on nov 1 2007 there is going to be a hell of a lot of **** in this country. Her lies won't be taken lightly by the consumers. I hope the ISPs also stand up for themselves a bit.
Sure, I've been rather hesitant since she announced it but damn, sometimes I hate being right.

Ivy has 4 choices

1) Declare SAT3 an essential asset of South Africa
2) Declare SAT3 exclusivity agreements null and void
3) Delay any annlouncements regarding the matter like she has done since February.
4) Pleasure herself while government benefits out of the highest landing station bandwidth cost in the world.

Mbeki needs her backing for some reason. It must have something to do with ANC presidency. The same goes for the health minister.

You won't move these two with heavy cranes!

Uhm.. well isn't it already suspicious that she chose nov as when she will declare it when that's when Telkom says it will comply w.r.t. ADSL regulations..*insert jaws soundtrack*

It will be interesting to hear the DoC's comment on the omission.

Dare I say yet 'ANOTHER' clarification from Ivy is imminent.

These latest developments only serve to undermine any remaining trust that the public may have that the Department of Communications is doing its best to introduce competition in South Africa.

Not that we had any to begin with.....

Ding-ding-ding - give the man a prize. :D

Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri - proudly killing South Africa since 1999.

Set up a poll... I don't think anyone here actually HAS any remaining trust...
