Indeed. That is the kind of broadband growth one should expect from a small base.A bit more impressive that telkom's ADSL results.
Just received this email from a reseller:
" Please note due to Vodacom 3G/HSDPA pricing increase, we will be changing Interprise 3G/HSDPA packages offering.
The above will be applicable as of 1st of December 2007.

interesting how they celebrate all the new customers by introducing a price increase!
They might find that data clients are far less brand loyal, and will follow the lowest price.
Sounds a lot like my encounters with Vodacom staff. "I don't know and I'm too lazy to find out, doh!". Also try speaking to anyone above 'call centre operator' level and see what happens. So don't even go there .On the phone with Interprise for the last few minutes. Seems no-one knows about this 'price increase'.
However, I'm not allowed to speak to the MD or Sales Manager, apparently 'company policy'......
As for the email being internal.... the wording did not seem to indicate that it was only meant for dealers/resellers... i would guess many would forward this to their clients to give them early notice of the possible price increase.
Suppose I should have been less lazy and asked for clarification myself!
/added/ Apologies to Vodacom if no price increase is intended!
In any case, as Prometheus showed, we should be dropping prices as throughput increase.
Using the current price/performance as a starting point, we're aiming for a completely free 1Tb/s service.![]()
Cool. Thanks VG3.On the phone with Interprise for the last few minutes. Seems no-one knows about this 'price increase'.
However, I'm not allowed to speak to the MD or Sales Manager, apparently 'company policy'......(/added/ ...or at least get their mobile numbers to call them)
Jacques, please PM me the complete mail you received.
/added/ Syndyre, thanks for the link....
