Car Accident Advice

Thing is I'm unable to get hold of him with the contact number he has provided.
Go to the eNatis website and input his name and ID number, his other details will get shown, there’s a recent thread about it.

Thread reminds me of the one 2 years ago. OP of that one asked who is at fault. He exited his driveway and bumped the other car already driving on the road.

Had some bright sparks saying 50/50 at fault.

Then again go look at the current "fast lane" thread.

Hope OP from this one comes right.

Time to start snooping on FB and/or Instagram?

Good start.
Use that information to build up a profile of what he likes and dislikes. Learn how to use stable diffusion - use it create a profile of someone that would suit him to a tee. Over time, build up a virtual relationship, let him buy you gifts, always promising to meet up with him. Then, finally, after a few months have gone by, arrange a date. Then, whilst he is waiting in the restuarant, you go ham with a sledge hammer on his Tiguan in the parking lot. Then send pictures of his D to his family, and co-workers.

1. You cannot claim directly from another person’s insurance if you are a 3rd party. So you still need the other person to file a claim before their insurance can entertain you.

2. They will not pay you R134k. You will have to get 3 quotes (I would start this now if I were you). They will take the lowest and negotiate it down (by cutting costs) with the place you got quote from and then offer you 40-60% of that, depending on your “level of responsibility for the accident”.

Good luck. You are entering a long and painful process of 3rd party claims.
