Car Accident Advice

I have a copy of his ID, Accident Report and His number. He said he was insured with iDirect. The Damage to my car according to an RMI approved panel shop is 134k
You could try get a lawyer to pursue him. Or at least threaten him with a letter. It'll cost you the lawyer and a sheriff to locate and serve him. Insurers are also scummy and will likely try to settle with you rather than cover the full amount.

Good luck in getting your car fixed.
Lawyer up, I can only imagine you will need it down the long path of cost recovery you are about to set upon.

Unfortunate situation. Do a letter of demand to his insurance company and include the police report, quote for repairs, and photos of the damage to both vehicles. They should consider the claim and will tell you what else they may need to process it. No need to lawyer up just yet, unless they reject the claim.

Probably your best bet just phone up the owners insurance with his details

They should have a standard process / forms etc for this. Make sure to include as much factual data, photots as possible.

If they reject your claim you probably wont have any recourse as lawyer fees will quickly escalate to more than the claim

Contact them and give them the details you have. And next time don't drive without insurance. If you can't afford insurance it's best to park your car as you definitely can't afford to not have it as you've just found out.
