Cool Ideas Fibre ISP – Feedback Thread 6

If its an intermittency fault, we can definitely still have a look yes. However the best course of action would be to run something like Pingplotter , which will show the drops for our team to take this further with Openserve
We are getting more reports, and will reach out to Openserve to investigate further

Issue still seems to be persisting in Douglasdale - Metrofibre.

Hi, which issue? The above is all related to Openserve.
My bad thought they were one and the same, my mother in law is reporting no internet on her connection on MetroFibre in douglasdale, she's tried restarting the devices a few times.

Please have her chat to support or log a ticket for her :)

HI there, from what I can see, there are no reported faults for Douglasdale MetroFibre at the moment, would you mind logging a ticket for this fault? Our team will be able to do more detailed checks :)

@PBCool @CoolEscalator Has the on-net youtube cache been disabled?

I am seeing the following when browsing to: https://redirector.googlevideo.com/report_mapping?di=no

102.132.246.xxx => jnb07s16 : router: "pr02.jnb02" next_hop_address: "72.14.220.201" (102.132.240.0/20)

Edit: I see it shows cisp-za on my Vodacom 5G package, so might just be an issue with this IP block mentioned above.

There are some changes with Cape Town getting their own Cache. So maybe related.
