I logged into my router and saw that my internet account settings were incorrect. It had somehow reverted to [email protected].

Changed that to my personal account and internet is up and running.

Yes, it would work on PPPoE.
But Evotel is still on DHCP; it has not yet moved to PPPoE.
 
I see this is marked as resolved but its still not working.
