Bad Parking Pictures

It actually makes MORE sense to park FRONT FIRST at a shopping mall, as the BOOT of the vehicle faces the open space between the two opposing lanes of parking bays, making it WAY easier to LOAD your groceries from your shopping trolley into the boot.

If you reverse-parked, then the BOOT of your vehicle faces inwards - AWAY from the open space - meaning you have to schlepp your groceries out of the trolley & carry them BETWEEN your car & the one parked next to it, in order to then open the boot & load your shopping...

Look at the silver VW Polo in the bottom right - it is reverse parked...

Yes, I agree, but there are some better than others at this. From constant everyday, being forced to do this because of SHEQ. It starts to become a constant in your life. We haven't opened the boot purposefully in years. Not sure the lock actually still works.....
If you passed your driving test, you should be able to do this without any trouble, rather than getting your licence in a lucky packet prize.

If you drive in a parking area there are cars behind you sometimes. Now some low capacity clown that want to reverse park drive past his parking spot. Hit the brakes and people behind him must hit the brakes too and sometimes reverse so the clown can do the most illogical way of parking.
Then again, it is mostly a certain crowd that do most of the reverse parking.

If you're going in to get something that doesn't require rear loading then that's irrelevant. Heck perhaps you're just meeting someone for lunch.

It really doesn't matter whether they're facing forwards or backwards when they park. As long as they're within the bounds of the bay.

Low capacity is strong in this thread.
Not one person have given any fact why reverse parking is better/easier/makes more sense/logical in normal city parking places.

It reminds me of this lot on the roads that klaps a U-turn as soon as they miss their turn or something. The brain is to small to think, oops let me just drive few hundred meters more and get a circle or place to safely turn around.

I haven't found too many drive-thru parking bays. So you still have to reverse out. It's literally 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

Let me explain to you again.
Its easier to drive forward than reverse. So driving forward into the small space and reversing out into the big space make sense? Common logic? It will take less time than the other way round.
Secondly when you reverse out of your parking you wait till there is space and no cars.
The reverse park clown do not wait, he drive past a parking spot, put his car in reverse and everyone must just wait for him to manoeuvre into the small space.

I watched a person today who went nose first into a parking just off the road at the vet, then reversing out and doing a 4 point turn behind the parking bays so she didn't have to reverse into the (quiet) road. (She parked really badly too).

Reminds me of green warehouse Chinese company. I am searching for the name...

When you park, park reversed.
And soo much more kak rules.

Like when using the stairs, keep 1 hand on the stairs.

The one day, got so gatvol, was walking on the stairs, grabbed the rail with both hands shouting, "Oh jirre, ons gaan val, gryp vas, nog nooit trappe in my lewe gebruik nie, HELLLPPPPPP"

If you can't drive, you can't drive doesn't matter which way you're doing it. That's where the problem is, not the direction.
