Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

This isn’t the first time cannot stream on crunchyroll , Fortnite downloading slow

Warp magically fixes everything
Just got my line up and running today and crunchyroll would not work at all for the family, period.
Either infinite buffer circle or 480 video quality.

Is this actually athing with Afrihost?
I thought crunchyroll was having issues.

My LTE worked perfectly fine with crunchyroll.

Morning.

Can ping crunchyroll while connected to the Openserve line?

Hi @AfriNatic and @AfriGuy,
I need some urgent assistance with a severe international routing issue on my line. My traffic to both Middle East and EU destinations is hitting a massive bottleneck on your transit partner’s network (Liquid Telecom) immediately after leaving Johannesburg.
Instead of taking an optimized path, all my data is looping through Marseille, France, destroying my latency:
1. Middle East Traffic Loop:
  • JHB Hop: hu-0-5-0-3.Iza-p4-jhb.liquidtelecom.net (16.6 ms)
  • Marseille Spike: ://liquidtelecom.com (174.9 ms)
2. EU Traffic Loop:
  • JHB Hop: hu-0-6-0-13.Iza-p4-jhb.liquidtelecom.net (16.7 ms)
  • Marseille Spike: ://liquidtelecom.com (215.0 ms)
Standard WhatsApp support has mistakenly escalated this to Openserve for a home technician visit. My physical line and local speeds are working perfectly—this is strictly a core network BGP/transit issue. Please could you help recall the ticket and push this directly to the Core NOC team to optimize the routing tables? [1]
Thank you!IMG_2429.pngIMG_2432.png

Hi.

May I please have your Bnumber so I can locate your account.

Morning.

Pinging crunchyroll is fine and their UI is still fast and snappy with thumbnails loading instantly, however any stream on pc is 480p or lower.
On my smart TV and daughters streaming devices it just gives an infinite buffer loading circle when trying to start streaming a series.

It's been like this since my line was activated yesterday early afternoon and is still like this now.

Switching to cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 dns on my smart TV fixes the infinite loading issues for 1 episode but as soon as the next episode loads it returns and then I need to switch dns to auto, then back to 1.1.1.1 again for it to work.

Streaming quality still drops constantly though no matter what.

Switching to my vodacom LTE, crunchyroll streams and loads perfectly.

Hi.

May I please have your Bnumber so I can locate your account.
My line reference code is B214939401
Since my forum account is new and restricted from initiating direct messages, please could you send a PM to my profile so I can reply with my ClientZone email address privately? I want to make sure the Core NOC engineers can recall this from Openserve and adjust the BGP transit routes away from the Marseille loop. Thank you.
