Same issue since Saturday.

I had to search for and add Dawnwalker and Onimusha to cart manually last night because my wishlist couldn't load.

Am I behind CGNAT again @Afrigirl @AfriGuy or is there something else amiss in KZN?
 
I too am experiencing the issue, definitely not QoS related or any VPN active on either wired or wifi connected devices.
the moment I switch to mobile data (vodacom) and tether laptop on phone, it connects

Hi Team,

Both a friend and I are experiencing the same latency issue in the Durbanville area, specifically during the evenings when playing Blizzard games such as World of Warcraft and Diablo 4.

Our in-game latency will suddenly spike to around 1,800ms, making the games practically unplayable.

A few points that may help with troubleshooting:

  • We are at two separate locations in Durbanville.
  • Both PCs are connected via Ethernet cable, not Wi-Fi.
  • The issue appears mainly during the evenings.
  • Both World of Warcraft and Diablo 4 are affected.
  • If we enable Cloudflare WARP VPN, the latency issue immediately disappears and the games run normally.
Since Cloudflare WARP resolves the problem, it seems possible that there may be a routing, peering, or congestion issue on the normal route to Blizzard's servers.

Could you please advise what tests you would like us to run while the issue is occurring? We are happy to provide WinMTR, traceroute, ping results, or any other diagnostics that would help identify where the latency is being introduced.

Yeah, KZN here too, openserve, and I'm also having terrible load times on steam.

Specifically the cdn.fastly.steamstatic.com, currently resolving to 199.232.211.52, routing via liquidtelecom

Cloudflare One connection instantly resolves the speed issue, so definitely something with the routing is not happy.

Having the usual issues on multiple services again. Once again Cloudflare warp magically makes my issues disappear....

From YouTube to Epic games downloads crawling to 1-2mbps on a 100/50 line, YouTube struggling to load a 720p video, shorts buffering, Disney+ as well buffering. Somehow Netflix works flawlessly always all videos load in 4K instantly so I know it is not my line. If you see my previous post on here, every time I update a game on Epic it will crawl to 20-30mbps and with WARP it maxes out my line?
