The Kempton Park Serial Killer thread

I would guess male in his 20 to 30 . Possibly medium to low iq. Comes from a broken home. possible mommy issues. Cant get off with out killing. Could be travelling the area like a courier delivery guy that delivers parcels in the area. He would have access to the area early and late in the day. dont stay in the area but know it well. travel similar routes. Vehicle available to dump bodies.

seems he wants the bodies to be found. Pretty sure there should be enough DNA evidence. Probably have a history of issues. animal cruelty and arson.

With the exception of his job, you just described the typical profile of a serial killer ;)

There are psychological reasons why they start killing, why it happens at an average age, etc.

Your post reminded me of this -

Netwerk24 says the 7th possible victim was discovered last Monday in a river in Tembisa but only today added as possibly linked to the others.
Exactly what I thought and posted above. However, I think this one is unrelated - the only body found in a river, and the only body that didn't have physical injuries.

It also isn't likely to be a single killer changing modus operandi, as it would be four similar in a row -> outlier -> two similar to the first four, and we know that the last two are more recent than 7 Sept as the runner only went missing on 9 Sept and the Springs body was "fresh" (the wording was simply "decomposed" - not "severely decomposed" or "advanced decomposition" as have been used with others).

Given how many have such similar traits, I'd guess that up to five may be linked, with last week's Tembisa as well as today's Springs being entirely separate matters.

I've read your assessment more times than I care to admit, and there's one part I don't know whether I agree with.

I think he may have a degree of charm rather than having mommy issues. Women are disappearing from public places without a single witness. No screaming, nobody intervening, etc. I think if it's one person, he's managing to lure them to an isolated area. Nobody (that I know of) disappeared from a private area, and public areas have so many variables. Other people, security cameras, etc. I think he's getting their willing cooperation at first.

Moses Sithole & Ted Bundy springs to mind, having used that M.O. (luring victims).

That is actually worse. It means there are 7 severely ****ed up individuals out there, instead of just one.

Got 2 leads so far

The twisted thing is - if looking at the patterns seen in other, infamous serial killers - if a serial killer's activity increases it usually leads to their capture because they have become reckless or overconfident. It may be a sign that they are losing the fight against their impulsivity (like Dahmer did) and have become ''sloppy'', or ego has taken full control and they feel confident that they can taunt the public/law enforcement by killing with increased frequency and in a more brazen manner (Bundy).
