Yes.

SAPS only get involved in those massive multi-agency roadblocks you occasionally see. I see them a couple of times a month on the Francois Oberholzer Freeway heading into/out of Germiston. They also tend to pop up during Easter weekend and over the festive season.

Doubt. JMPD is on the payroll/JMPD offiicals own taxis themselves.
 
In a typical year about 5800 women are killed in SA. That works out to about 15 per day. Sad to realize that this many bodies may not even be a serial killer. Could just be a normal September but now the media is looking making it into something bigger.

Proximity/Density is the additional element, not to mention that out of the 5800, a large portion might be by partners etc.

What are you doubting exactly ? I see this every time JMPD vehicle is parked on pavements / patrols during school drop-off. Happens at least twice a month. It should be way more frequent though.

Of course. Statistically, GBV is caused mostly by men that are known to the women (boyfriends/partners/hubby etc). I think figure is between 60-70% if you check.
