The Kempton Park Serial Killer thread

Isn't it Metro police (JMPD for jozi) that manage traffic though, not SAPS ?

Yes.

SAPS only get involved in those massive multi-agency roadblocks you occasionally see. I see them a couple of times a month on the Francois Oberholzer Freeway heading into/out of Germiston. They also tend to pop up during Easter weekend and over the festive season.

In Kyalami/Midrand area, taxis behave if they get a whiff that JMPD vehicles are patrolling. :-)

Doubt. JMPD is on the payroll/JMPD offiicals own taxis themselves.

In a typical year about 5800 women are killed in SA. That works out to about 15 per day. Sad to realize that this many bodies may not even be a serial killer. Could just be a normal September but now the media is looking making it into something bigger.

Proximity/Density is the additional element, not to mention that out of the 5800, a large portion might be by partners etc.

What does the Kempton Park lockdown mean for residents?

The announced lockdown refers to an intensified police operation in Kempton Park and surrounding areas.

Authorities have not specified whether the operation will include roadblocks, searches, access restrictions or other measures.

No general curfew or restriction on residents’ movements has been confirmed in the information available at the time of publication.

Residents should therefore distinguish the police operation from a formal restriction on movement. Further operational details will depend on announcements from the authorities.

What are you doubting exactly ? I see this every time JMPD vehicle is parked on pavements / patrols during school drop-off. Happens at least twice a month. It should be way more frequent though.

Now do the stats for men

As long as the good people of Kempton Park are still allowed to buy flip flops, alcohol and ciggies, all is OK.

Of course. Statistically, GBV is caused mostly by men that are known to the women (boyfriends/partners/hubby etc). I think figure is between 60-70% if you check.

That is exactly what I was wondering, like did people forget what country we live in.

As they should have done long ago.

Now do the stats for men
I know Kamala aunty's rejection made you a certified misogynist but stats say that women don't murder as much as men.

Proportion: Women commit a small fraction of overall male homicides; a comprehensive forensic study published in BMJ Global Health found that men were the perpetrators in 93% of male homicides, with female perpetrators accounting for roughly 7%. [1]

Well if the killer turns out to be a woman, it's probably just postpartum psychosis.
its entirely possible.

We just always assume its a man...because it most often is.
Watch everyone lose their minds when its a spiky haired dyke.

Psycho comes in all flavors.
