E-tolls are not the future: Transport MEC
Funding mechanisms other than e-tolls will have to be found for the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project (GFIP), transport MEC Ismail Vadi said on Talk Radio 702 on Friday.

OUTA heads to the High Court this week to seek an interdict against SANRAL's proposed e-tolling scheme for Gauteng freeways.
Ismail Vadi is currently the MEC of Roads and Transport for Johannesburg.
