I am going to be replacing the two HDDs with a single 2TB drive (keeping the drives safe as their own...

This may sound crazy, but I'm thinking of deleting my recovery partition. I have an Asus UX51VZ, which has two 128 GB mSata discs in RAID 0. The read and write speed are insane but the catch is the mSata discs are proprietary  so there's little chance of upgrading or at least little chance...
I've getting a Netbook soon and I want to know if there is any way to copy/port the recovery partition to a new hard drive.
The Netbook I am getting comes with a 250GB hard drive and I want to replace it with a 500GB hard drive, but I also want to copy the recovery partition from the new...
I have a WD 3TB HDD which was formatted to 2TB and 1TB before. Can't remember how I did it. Now the smaller partition is unallocated and I can't seem to find a way to activate it with the data that was on it before.

Anyway, I now want to install SuSE on this...

e.g My system has 512mb RAM and AFAIK, it's usual to use 512mb-1gb for the swap for that amount? (Would I be better off with 1gb?)
Also for my root partition? For WinXP about 16GB works well for me, it's enough for all my usual apps etc with...
With all the HDD's Clicking, Dying HDD's, Losing Data, Popping circuitry I decided to Start this thread.
I Have found an awesome utility to Fix Wrong Size reporting in XP!
If your HDD reports 33MB in the BIOS, or 7.87GB in Disk Management but you have like a 500GB or bigger and can't get...
