I am the victim of appaling incompetence from Telkom. Our line and ADSL service has been down for over 2 weeks now.
It took lots of Twitter "shouting" for a weeek before Jacqui O' Sullivan said I could email her.

I applied for a line conversion from voice line to ADSL over a month ago. Telkom apparently don't have any ports available. I live in Douglasdale Johannesburg, anybody else in the area recently have the same problem? or is this just an excuse? :mad:

Good news, Telkom recently informed me that my line fault has been restored.
I called them about a month ago to complain about the noise on my line and the slow unreliable connection I had.
I have now reported my line 3 times in the last month (not to mention the other 13 times last year)...
