1 gig connection

I mean has anyone ever been arrested for torrenting in south africa. Ive seen some warnings which are rare but nobody been arrested or charged. Perks of being in a 3rd world country

Only for local content and stuff that Multichoice has exclusive rights to. Been there when 4 x police vans showed up at my house at 6pm.

Even with seedboxes etc there are other legitimate reasons to use torrents still.

There are a few different options but here is my setup. Total cost is $7 a month excluding internet.

Microserver (although any PC with some storage will do)
fastusenet.org account ($7 a month although they are running constant specials. If you are on Afrihost you can use their news server as well)
SABNZB to download
Sonarr to download TV series
Radarr to download movies.

I usually add movies when we get blessed with loadshedding. TV series I add as and when I see something interesting.
Could you explain how to access Afri news servers? please

1Gbps with CISP and i think i have maxed at 75MB/s
But i write then to a PCIE4 NVME
I know with my old HDD it would choke
You can tweak a few settings on the client to get better speed someone did post a thing on the forum about it once
