phpBB2 cant compare with Vbulletin, but I believe phpBB3 will hopefully evolve into something more competitive...

Some thing I cant take anymore about forums is the whole thing of POST COUNT.

Everybody makes like your post count is important for your opinion to be valid. Thats a load of rubbish if you think about it logically. I cant stand the way post count is waived around as a form of status. Who agrees

Maybe they should reverse the post count? Start at say 25,000 and count down. Or let it be like an old car odometer, clocking over every 10,000.

A new idea would be to show users posts as a % to the total.

Agreed and not me. Never have, never will, considered post count as anything more than a number - the Thread Killer is the perfect example for why.
