Just finished installing the pre-release of iTunes 8.2 that is needed to activate iPhone OS 3.0 beta 4.

Installed beta 4 and synced.

Everything synced as usual, except my notes. An error popped up stating that 10.5.7 or later is needed in order to sync notes....

So expect an update soon peeps ;)
 
Hope it comes before the end of the month while I've still got plenty of local only bandwidth available.
 
That update was due two weeks ago but it has been held off due to compatibility with Safari 4 and possible inclusion of Bluetooth 3. Expect a heavy one - close to a GB for the combo and over 600MB for the delta.

All Apple downloads are akamised so I start it via my limited international account, pause it, and then switch to local only. :)

Bigger the better - this is my last month with mweb and I'm trying to give them the biggest finger possible. :)
 
I hope 10.5.7 brings some new features found in Snow Leopard. I ran the beta version and it is amazingly fast. My 10.5.6 is VERY stable at the moment.

Following the rumours sites, they expect a release either today or tomorrow if precedence is to be followed. They have of course been saying that the last few Mondays but with each developer seed, old problems make way for new improvements so this is why it is rumour to be hefty. It is also rumoured to be one of the last in Leopard's cycle.

Apple are not keen on rumours though and sometimes go out of their way to discredit these sites.

I understand why you say that, because OS3 will be released by then and NEEDS 10.5.7 to sync Notes.

iClarified heard a rumour that it will be released last Friday.

My bet is on this Friday :)
