10 Mbps Upgrades: Give your feedback

That checker hasn't been updated since Friday. When I put my number in it tells me I can't get 10mb yet I'm running perfectly stable at 10mb as I type this.

Don't bother with the checker until it's updated.

Thanks for the clarification. I figured the checker was bogus, since I'm on ADSL2+ (still 4Mbps), and it says I can't be upgraded, which is obviously wrong...

This is great way to go Telkom. Tested with Winzip file 13.8 Meg from (www.winzip.com) downloaded in 14sec.

Upload speed is just as great.

Upgrade: Partial (I can now sync with ADSL2+ modulation instead of G.DMT but I am still syncing at 4Mb)

My 1 line at work has been upgraded, yet my home line which is on the exact same exchange has not. I have been trying to speak to somebody at Hellkom this whole week to query this. I tried 0800375375 I am then told to phone 10219 who then tell me to call 10215 and then the vicious circle begins again telling me to call 0800375375 and so it goes on. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Hellkom are a f***ing joke.

Currently have a 4mb line but only synced at 1mb. Telkom says that's the best they can offer in my area.

Is this sporadic bullsh*t still going on ... and still only going in in the weird out-of-the-way areas.
