These upgrades are like watching paint dry...

Surely it should go a bit quicker... wazzup Telkom? Hillcrest / Kloof still on 4096k...

Your lines connect to different units/dslams/whatever in the exchange and/or they're switching the lines over in batches over the next few days?

True thats most probably the case, drove past the exchange yesterday, and it doesn't look like anyone's around working on the DSLAMs (the massive looking things) yet hoping they're busy testing batches of lines (or maybe individually.)

Guess the most sensible thing to do is wait for an official statement by Telkom in the coming weeks before calling them I am the impatient type though.

I don't think anyone in Centurion has been upgraded yet by the looks of it? Saw "No's" from Reeds, Roohuiskraal, Lyttleton, Pierre van Ryneveld and now Doringkloof.

Line speed only working at 4MB, router information says the line speed is currently on 6008kbps, was 7995, then 7500, then 7024 (or something) and is just bouncing around like a ping pong ball.

Upload speed has been stable at 256.
