10 Mbps Upgrades: Give your feedback

man im so pissed off! why do they keep increasing the speed for the top package for free but the lower packages are still stuck at 386kbps??? i know they want people to upgrade but F**K them! how much would it cost them to upgrade us to 1mbps :mad:
 
Well, if you look at earlier posts you will see that virtually no 4mbps users have been upgraded.
 
Neither our office line nor my home line has been upgraded. Telkom FAIL.

Years of waiting for nothing.
 
Hi guys and gals got some bad newsb for you all . Phoned teljkom today to upgrade my line to 4mb it was done no problem. I then asked the very friendly and knowlegible lady wether the lower speed offerings will be upgraded and was informed that only the 4mb guys will be. "If the user wants higher connection he must apply for it, but it won't be free" sorry guys seems to me you lower speed users are again pushed aside and abanded by telscum. I feel for the guys who can't afford it, luckily I'm in a situation that I can afford it.but thousands of users can't. Telkom should have at least got rid of the 384 and bumped them up to 512
 
well this is typical of them, this site doesnt even work it just gives an error.
 
Upgrade: Yes (after many phone calls, redirections and talking to consultants who don't have a clue about 10mb)

This service can not be converted to 10Mbps Fastest DSL at this stage. Please check again in future as we are continually upgrading the network.
 
Does the checking site actually work for anyone, even people that have been upgraded? Or does it just givea new error message.
