1110 does not pick up certain channels

I have a HDPVR and 1110 decoder connected with Xtraview.
This setup was working OK until now, but the 1110 does not pick up certain channels any more like Mnet (101), also 103,114,121,161,201,205,221,and 320.
Xtraview setup screen shows "Ready but inactive" , but why does it work for the other channels? Also looks like an intermittent problem as it sometimes pick up Mnet?
I called their help centre but they want me to take both decoders to the local MC centre

I had the same issue. It depended on which channel was playing on the pvr. If a certain channel played on the pvr some on the 1110 wouldnt work. Never had it fixed though. Ended up cancelling dstv. Would like to hear if you solve this though.

It depends on the polarisation or something of the signal; some channels signals are horizontal and some are vertical something like that; and when the pvr is on a channel (using/broadcasting a vertical signal) you can't watch a channel (using/broadcasting) a horizontal signal
Or can't watch 2channels on vertical or 2 channels on horizontal signals at the same time; something like that; I think it can be solve by buying a new "oog" on the skottel itself

I can't remember it beeing like this from the start; I don't know if its since the decoders last firmware update ; or since dstv changed the signals a while ago

I assume you had a splitter instead of a multiswitch, it would've worked if correct equipment was used

can you describe your setup please, might be a problem there, but if not then ya you have to take both decoders to MC

yep you cant blame mono choice if you don't get the correct equipment and installation done right.

that shouldn't work, looks like xtraview is messed up on decoder 2, so try asking them to rest those setting on their side if not take decoders in

Nope . Been disconnected all day and I can still watch almost all the channels. Maybe I should cancel my XV subscription? Not worth paying that extra money for a few channels more

Connector or Multiswitch or LNB.

Test for power at the LNB side. If both ports receive power, it's more likely the MS.
