1GB Networking cable?

Here's an interesting one - My Media Center has four 1GB Ethernet ports - would it be worth while running each one to the switch, or wouldn't there be any benefit?

Only if you can create a trunk. Else they would all have to be in different networks.

No benefit, unless you bond them together, and even then, you'd need to have something capable of receiving 4Gbps on the other end.

Wait until you need it, imo.

Yeh - I suppose it'd be pointless anyway, because the switches are still limited to 1GBs between them, so it'd only serve the connections on the same switch.
