2 isp accounts simultaneously on 1 line?

As already mentioned, set your router to bridged mode, set your Afrihost account as the main account on the router, then dial in to telkom from your pc when you want the uncapped. Very simple and easy to implement solution.

Leave your AH account settings on the modem. Then on your PC, go to Network and Sharing Centre, and select Set Up A New Connection. Then choose Connect to the Internet, then choose Set up a new connetion anyway (windows will see the current connection). Then choose Broadband connection (PPPOE) and enter your Telkom account details. Then it should dial up that connection for your PC only. When you have it set up, click in your taskbar on the network icon and you will there have the option to connect to your new network (telkom) or disconnect if its already active.

I would suggest getting Pingplotter free version or similar to make sure that you are connected to the correct account before starting your downloads. Something like a PFsense PC or a Mikrotik will definitely work better and is a lot more versatile, but this is a free solution and you can use it immediately. in you rcase where you only want to set it for downlaods after hours it should be fine. You can also set the DNS server of the primary account to a bogus value, so that the PC can only connect to the internet from the second account (in case it loses the Telkom account during the night and carries on downloading on your AH account), but this hasn't happened to me yet.

The other advantage with this is you can set up multiple accounts this way, so if you get a trial WA or similar account to test your line you can set them all up, and then just connect to the one you want to test. It's a lot simpler than changing details on the modem every time.
thanks i tried this and seems to work so far... will let you know if i have any problems

No need to download anything just go to speedtest.net and it will show what account you are using :p

you are connecting directly to a modem in bridge/half-bridge mode?

Haven't Changed anything in the modem, let me go grab a screenshot to show maybe something is set up wrong

Checked the passthrough option, got a new error ( Those are the correct credentials I double checked )

I sometimes get an error as well when trying to connect the second account. I just retry and then it usually connects.
