2 isp accounts simultaneously on 1 line?

You need to set your router to half bridged mode if you want an account on the router and to be able to dial from PC at the same time.

Any performance effects when using half bridge, bridge etc?

I have a 2 Mbps line so I won't really notice anything :) but your total speed shouldn't be affected. Its just that the two accounts are sharing your line speed. At night I leave the PC on one account to download, and that goes normal full line speed while the other account on the modem is not in use, so I don't think you will see any problems.

That makes mores sense I understand how it works now.

So if I download over the WiFi and on the pc i would basically get like 50/50 of the total line ie 40Mbps would be 40/2 ?

I am not sure how the traffic is divided, I guess it depends on your modem? When I download NZB's on the PC the rest of the network really struggles, it's almost unusable for phones on wifi. This is probably because the NZB's have 20 connections running simultaneously? If Limit the download speed it works ok for the phones. Maybe if you have a better routing system (mikrotik/pfsense) you can set better qos.

But yes, ideally your 40 Mbps line would be split into two 20 Mbps lines if both accounts are being used equally.

So I got part of it right ?

Btw thanks the connection thing is working

What does NZB get used for?

How do you guys use it ?

Theres a nice guide here on the forum.

I paid for UseNetBucket account but found there was still corruption in files.

Now using VPS in Los Angelis with 80GB hdd running Debian and rTorrent.

So bottom line torrentz is superior

I have tried torrent , usenet , filesharing and mirc.
Torrent is tops, especially if you only paying $10 a year for a VPS with 80gb hard drive.
Load up rTorrent in browser after vps is setup, then add torrent, once file has downloaded connect via sftp and download to my pc.
