Guess we just need to win 2 of our last 4 games to win the title now, since the 5 points are effectively 6 with our superior goal difference. So if we beat Blackburn, we could win the Premiership the next week at Chelsea. Talk about rubbing salt into the wound :D
 
brad u really think in 4 games united will drop 6 points?

we can afford a draw plus loss to chelsea and we win it

if we beat chelsea that would be really sweet :)

chances are we will win it but worst result is a draw. We will never lose.

concerning the last nights match, Chelsea wasted alot of (in front of goal)opportunities and it costed them.

no brad you could arsenal's problems coming way before they started

small squad injuries and tired players because wenger cannot rotate due to small squad size

united in general finish the year off really well because of their squad size and quality of subs

i was saying arsenal would finish 4th when they where top and i might still be correct
 
Wenger: Title is gone

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted his team's title hopes are now over. Sunday's 2-1 defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford put United six points ahead of Chelsea, who play Wigan Athletic on Monday, with Arsenal now a further three points back.

"Yes we are out," Wenger said afterwards. "We played with quality and spirit, and I'm very proud of our performance. What can you do? We had plenty of chances and we were really unlucky not to win."

Wenger was at a loss to explain the turnaround in the Gunners' season, having been five points clear at the beginning of February, but feels luck has not been on their side.

"The last two months, we have been not very lucky - and you could see that again," he said. "It's difficult to find an obvious reason when you see that performance."

I see Chelsea are away to Everton on Thursday. The title could be over by this weekend :)
If Everton beat Chelsea, which I think they will, United will only need a draw at Blackburn to secure the title, if my calculations are correct.

last time i checked Wigan also sucked, but got a point at SB.
Chances are Chelsea will beat them but Everton are not sitting at 5th by luck. That match could be a turning point for them.

i thought they could hold chelsea because as middles proved against united when your fighting for survival your a threat

everton cannot finish 4th should finish 6th they no nothing to fight for chelsea do

wigan needs points to ensure they stay up, very dangerous when your playing a team who is fighting for their lives

thats the most stupid thing to say, Everton can still try for CL, even though its unlikely but they'll give it their all.

everton 6 points behind because of goal difference

i guess im being stupid thinking liverpool will lose 2 of those games and everton will beat both arsenal and chelsea plus the remaining 2 games

i can be so stupid sometimes

a team that cannot beat birmingham is being asked to beat chelsea and arsenal haha
