I like managers with flare. One manager i hated with a passion was JM. But u have to admit, he brought something to the Premiership. He was very dramatic.

drama is the correct word, but only in certain circumstances, otherwise he was quite straight-faced

He always had a "comment" after the game, be it about the ref or the other team.Sore loser in my books but good manager.

People leave there jobs for pay increases all the time. One might argue if you're earning so much to start with an increase doesn't carry as much weight when deciding whether to move or not

It's just that he was so massive for Arsenal this season, you would have thought he/they would have made more effort to make sure he stayed....

Maybe we can sell them Fletcher and/or Saha as a replacement ;)

His contract was up and he moved, lets be honest its a bigger team so who blames him.

Arsenal only have themselves to blame! Its not after more money. The fact that Wenger benched him since he came to the club, he blew up this year cementing his place in the team.

A litte to late i say. Free transfer has gotta hurt. So it wasnt about the money. Treat players right, and they will treat the club right.

If i was him an AC came knocking, ill jump and play for AC. better club, more history.

Yep the club is only to blame in this situation but they paid the price at the end.

its a bigger team as you say, but also take into consideration that Wenger does not like to strengthern the team with 'big' names, must have influenced his decision

Yip he was key player for Arsenal, they should have given him the money he wanted, if you look at hopeless Wes Brown getting 55k a week, Flamini should get 100k.

That Saha/Fletcher is a good idea HJ, but you know how much Fergie loves his fellow Scot. Saha should be given to another club for free, and add an aid kit with it.

Ya, they can have Saha and Fletch for free...

You forgot to mention Brown ;)
but contentiously, I would keep Saha as back up for the 'weaker' games. (not that there are many nowadays with the strength of the EPL)

And he will be injured for them as well :(

Brown would go tomorrow if I had my way. But that four year contract is worrying :(

I really hope this is Giggs and Scholes' last season as well.

Sucks when players run after more cash :(

I'd play for the Arse for R700 000 a week

when arsenal offer you 55k and another team offer you 80k a week you telling me you would not move

i would move

arsenal are going nowhere slowly, its a sinking ship

milan will be back on top and he knows it

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says the club must take responsibility for Mathieu Flamini's move to AC Milan.

Wenger would not break his wage cap for Flamini, 24, who turned down Arsenal's reported offer of £55,000-a-week to join Milan on a free transfer.

On a free transfer...now wenger should calculate how much he lost in a sale fee that could have compensated for a higher wage to keep flamini. I remember it favouring him when he got Sol Campbell on a free from spurs and paid him £100k per week.

Real shame - good talent Flamini had to show for the EPL.

And who was that spouting that nonsense about how AW buys players and then sells them for a profit?? :p
