Sorry hj but Arsenal never paid anything for Flamini either....

Sinking ship? :) You said that last season also killa

Anyway, United should be ashamed, having to chase a team that cost a fraction of their own team for most of the season;)

yes nivek :)

3rd place prem and nothing else

i would be ashamed as well to win the league and be in the final :)

u can tell arsenal cost a fraction

go look at their trophy chest over the last 3 years :)

nivek remember the season is 38 games not 30

nivek, arsenal did well this year and i dont know how to be honest but i said they would not do well and the end of the season they have no done well

you cannot judge a team on 3/4 of a season

flamini is gone, wenger not buying much i cannot see how arsenal will do anything next season

they will be fighting man city, tot villa and newcastle next year for 4th

Hehe, fair enough ;)

I still rate you should have tried to hold onto him though. Now, next season you are going to have to start from scratch again, especially if Hleb and Fabregas go as well

Fabregas aint going anywhere (hes got an 8 year contract and hes said he loves Arsenal anyway).. Hopefully neither is Hleb... Flamini was good but not irreplacable

who would replace flamini he had a great season

cannot see just anyone can be a rock for you guys

was it not around the time flamini and sagna got injured that arsenal fell apart?

thats what you said last season killa:)

4 points behind the leaders at the end of the season, havent lost 9 in feb isnt such a bad result.. its not a trophy but its progress from the last season..

well he has been with Arsenal since he was 16yrs old, he must be loving life there.

Maybe we can sell them Fletcher and/or Saha as a replacement ;)

:D

It's a pity Man United wasn't able to do what Real Madrid did to Barcelona last night. They beat them to win the league. I was hoping that United would do that at Stamford Bridge. Anyway, we can still do it in the CL final.

merc the difference is chelsea are a solid strong team, may play boring football but they will never be rolled 4-1 by united at the bridge because they have quality in attack midfield and defense

barcelona are just shocking the at the moment and just any spanish team can hold or beat them

Shocking result for BArca, but it was kinda expected. That would sum up their season. That is the reason why they are doing a summer revamp.

Intereting Madrid scored 4 past them and United only managed 1 over 2 legs :D

What's with these tags? Do they even serve a purpose? "blue day" "mighty gunners"

As an Arsenal supporter, even I think that's a bit silly.

I find it appalling how they can fire coaches who take teams from the bottom of the log and put them into the top 10 WTF???

killa, they have no patience. They expect the new coaches to win the league in the first year, or that the team should immediately start playing attractive football and winning every match. It's pathetic. Look what an amazing job Sven has done for City this season. I can't believe and understand them honestly. You build a team and that takes time. One thing every team needs is consistency - and by that I don't just mean results, I mean they need a manager that is there for a while so that they can grow. You can't keep chopping and changing and expect the team to become better. Also happened to most of Madrid's coaches over the last few years. They fired every single one of them, and when they finally found a coach who won them the league, they wanted to fire him too. WTF???
