Umm I dont know how much you truly know about leeds united but their woe's are as a result of financial disaster not so much managerial dispute...

J

You're missing my point here. The point being that Leeds went down when they sacked Leary. No one can deny that. They were doing well in the league until they fired him. Stats will back me up.

leeds should never have gone down, that is one most shocking relegation moments since i started watching footie

Exactly. I've seen it too often. They sack coaches and the clubs go down.

merc look at bolton

top 8 team last year

big sam leaves and they came so close to going down, they didnt sack him though

killa they're still not entirely safe. They can still be relegated. Look at their position in the table now with their new coach compared to previous seasons when they had Sam. They were in the top half. You can't deny that Bolton is not the good team they used to be. They were tough to beat.

bolton would need to lose 5-0 and reading would need to win 6-0 for them to go down

bolton are safe

fulham are not in the drop zone

the only way bolton can go down is as i stated above

even if that happened bolton would drop below fulham but be above reading on goal difference should reading win and bolton lose

meaning derby birmingham and and reading go down

killa, fulham and reading are on 33 points. It makes no difference. If the one gets thrashed by 3 or 4 and the other wins by that margin, Bolton can go down. That's if Fulham and Reading win. Let me try and work something out, it can get a bit tricky with lots of goals. Even the guys in studio mentioned this last week.

Agent - Hleb leaving Gunners

Alexander Hleb's agent claims the player will leave Arsenal this summer.

The Belarus midfielder has been linked with a move to Internazionale, who have expressed an interest in the 27-year-old.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already had to cope with midfielder Mathieu Flamini agreeing to join Milan when his Arsenal contract expires at the end of June, and now Hleb's agent Nikolai Shpilevski claims his client will also be leaving Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

He told Belarusian paper Pressball: "Alexander is preparing to make the most important moves of his life.

No way back
"He is leaving Arsenal even though they want to offer him a new long-term contract and better conditions. Only time will tell if leaving is the right decision, but there's no way back now. Everything will be cleared up in the next two weeks."

Wenger revealed earlier this week that he was keen to keep Hleb at the club and he could face a fight in the summer to persuade him to stay in North London.

Rafa wants £15m for Crouch

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has slapped a £15million price tag on England striker Peter Crouch.

And the Anfield chief also revealed that he had held talks with Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill over the potential transfer of midfielder Gareth Barry to Liverpool.

Crouch hinted earlier this week he could be forced to leave Anfield this summer after growing increasingly frustrated with his lack of first-team action.

Benitez accepts that the England international could look to leave in search of regular action but the Spaniard insists he will not be going on the cheap.

Portsmouth have been strongly linked with a move to bring Crouch back to Fratton Park, but Benitez claims he has had no offers for the unsettled forward.

Not unreasonable

"Crouch wants to play every week but knows he must fight it out with Fernando Torres," Benitez said.

"We keep seeing Portsmouth linked with the player but we have had no offer as yet.

"A £15m price tag would not be unreasonable."

Benitez also explained further the pending saga over Barry, and revealed that nothing more will happen until after this weekend's closing round of league matches.

"I have spoken to Martin O'Neill, he knows my ideas," added Benitez.

"But we agreed to wait until the end of the season for any more discussions."

Ramos coy on Berbatov

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos refused to be drawn on fresh speculation linking Dimitar Berbatov with a move away from White Hart Lane.

Berbatov's future at Tottenham has been the subject of conjecture for some time with a number of Europe's top clubs believed to be chasing his signature.

Recent reports have suggested Barcelona are planning a move for the Bulgarian international and could part with Samuel Eto'o as part of any deal for Berbatov.

Ramos was remaining coy on Berbatov's future, describing the latest stories as speculation.

Reality

"It is the end of the season so you get lots of stories and speculation about which players are going from clubs and which players are coming," Ramos told Sky Sports News.

"The reality is this - Berbatov is with us at the moment and we are going to enjoy having him with us.

"If he goes, we will have to look for a replacement for him but if not he will be here."

If Reading win 4 - 0 and Bolton lose 6 - 0, they can go down. I know it's not likely, but the possibility exists.

Hleb Set To Leave Arsenal

Alex Hleb's agent has finally gone public with his client's wish to leave Arsenal this summer.

The Belarusian, a close friend of the AC Milan-bound Mathieu Flamini, has repeatedly been linked with a move to Inter Milan amid claims that he has been offered a double-your-pay offer by the Italian club. Famously, after reports he had left Arsenal's hotel to meet with Inter representatives before their Champions League tie in Milan, his absence was explained as a search for an ice cream.
