I'm busy at work, otherwise I'd read every post...
I obviously display fewer posts per page (not sure where that's set). That's why it is on so many pages back for you.![]()
You're missing my point here. The point being that Leeds went down when they sacked Leary. No one can deny that. They were doing well in the league until they fired him. Stats will back me up.
Exactly. I've seen it too often. They sack coaches and the clubs go down.
Chelsea scored 6 against Man City and Derby this season if I recall correctly.
Doubt they will score more than 2 or 3 against Bolton, need to leave fuel in the tanks for the 21st...
hmmm,i can remember the last time we scored 4,but 6 was too far in the past
And I wouldn't want Bolton to go down either.
Not quite true - they fire leary after he failed to gain them champ league entry - so not well enough - without champ league they couldnt repay loan as they didnt have tv rights - so he got fired after he didnt qualify, not before...

Aai. Let me try again. Did Leeds not get relegated after they fired Leary? A simple yes or no will do.
i dont want fulham to go down
i think the 3 that are there should go and will go
got a feeling fulham will win at portsmith
no merc i remember he got fired because they went down, could be wrong though
Leeds fired O'leary June 2002. 3 more managers arrived before they were relegated May 2004.
edit: my assumption - O'leary's departure meant the end of the Leeds.

My point is that after Leary, Leeds were never the good team they used to be. Sure they had managers after him, but they couldn't get the team to where Leary once had them.
