Yeah Killadoob has a point. Remember 1st and 4th play each other. Beating NZ & England would at least make us 3rd on the log.

Nazkul: I don't see the Aussies losing to anyone, including NZ. They're looking like an unbeatable team at the moment.
 
Agreement here. We need to win both games to avoid OZ. They do look super strong in all situations right now.
 
Is it wierd that all the WC upsets happened on a Saturday? Am I right in saying SA lost to Aus on a Sat, Bang on Sat and they playing NZ on Sat!!:eek: :p

If kiwis win, they go tops... then if SA 3rd, we play Aus in semis... get what i'm saying? and Aus vs NZ is the second last game, so its out of SA's hands who we play! :(

We haven't played at Barbados yet, and ENG would've played one game there already by today... :confused:
but ENG have lost 3 games already... :rolleyes:

personally i think hayden has peaked at the wrong time for aussies

he is bound to fail and when he does i hope it against us

also i hope gibbs doesnt drop him again

he always drops big players in big games

You just set yourself up for disappointment.

SA won yesterday, to a ailing Windies team, on a bouncy wicket. Very good performance I admit, but now were does the "peeking" or is it "Peaking" statement fit in?

It concerns me that yet again our bowlers couldn't bowl out the West Indies team. Add to the fact that the last two batsmen - Powell and Collymore got 48* and 12* respectively and it poses serious questions about our bowling attack.

I think WI did amazingly well to get to 289 from 170/6...
 
well i think we have not learnt from our mistakes and are going to be a force to reckoned with but the nz will let us know

atleast kallis batting like we know he can

Yip 289 is still a big score to make. Would have been interesting if the SA target was around 300.

That is a big worry. And yet we drop the one bowler who has been taking wickets?
 
We really needed to finish off the Windies. Getting 289 was way over what we should've bowled them out for but still a good performance.
