nz are getting a hiding of the highest order

man o man go hayden get a huge 100 buddie

means your more likely to fail in the next game :)

GO HAYDEN

NZ would probably prefer to face SL on tha pacy wicket for 2/3 semi. They have rested Bond who is key to their attack. As with SL, I think that is a mistake.

NZ are lucky they don't have to face Aussies until the final. But lets hope they will be playing SA

Just seen the Lumix Play of the Day (Ban vs WI)

Brian Lara caught a catch and dropped it (after 5 sec), was that given out?

New and excited

Hi everyone (anyone).

I have not read everything in this thread so I hope I'm not interjecting inappropriately.

Ive been trying to find a forum to talk about the cricket.

Ive been a passionate but constantly (world cup) disappointed fan since the 92 world cup.

After 1999 I promised myself I wouldn't become completely absorbed like I had been. After "that" match I was a finished for weeks afterward. I physically felt ill.

Despite my best efforts I've become entrenched. I've installed a countown timer on my pc counting down to the aussie match.

I've a constant knot in my gut.

I wanna win this so badly I can't stand it.

I suppose, when it comes down to it, I'm trying to find people that share my magical dream where we break australia's 27 game streak (assuming they win today).

Thank you.

I read in an article today that the odds are that their streak has to break at some point.

I can embrace that. Perhaps the odds will go with us for a change.

Well it is about time they lost a WC game and about time they batted 1st and DIDN'T get 300+!

Toss is going to be important in the Aus/SA game. My guess is that the side who wins the toss will bat and have a good chance of winning.

ay, you said it.

Batting first - what a conundrum. But surely it can't all come down to the toss.

Whenever we bat we will have to remove Gilchrist, Hayden and Ponting cheaply. I really think we'll be in if we can do that.

Is that asking for too much?

I don't get why teams perform so poorly against Aus  Is it a mental thing?

Any team is arguably capable of beating them on paper. They just seem to go about business as usual, why can't everybody else play their natural games too?
