Picking yourself up after a loss (especially against Aus) and going on to win the Cup is a measure of a sides mettle so ya losing a match but winning the cup still means you're the best (my opinion anyway).

It sounds better winning a WC and not losing a game...Picking yourself up after a loss (especially against Aus) and going on to win the Cup is a measure of a sides mettle so ya losing a match but winning the cup still means you're the best (my opinion anyway).

Are we still ahead on the points ladder(number 1 team in the world)
and if we win all our games?
Can aus overtake us?
If Aus win their next match they might jump into 1st place on the ranking. Not sure how it works exactly yet. Cutoff date is 1 April, whoever is 1st on that date will get the prizemoney etc from the ICC.

Anyone know something about a Pro20 World Cup?![]()
We don't want anyone to beat Aus, at least not in the Super 8 round. Aus are almost guaranteed a place so rather have them beat a bunch of guys to stop them qualifying. We need NZ, Aus, WI to beat all of the other teams and then for us to beat them and the other teams. I would prefer SL not to be in the final 4, they are a strong side. Much more consistant then WI. I can see us beating NZ, WI and Aus on our day but SL have those little dibly dobler spinners and just keep in your face. WI, however, have always been out World Cup boogy side.Bangladesh are the Giant killers in this world cup - we can pray for a miracle against Oz![]()
i think kallis need to be replaced by the spinning peterson
i wonder if kallis is involved in this whole match fixing
needing 7.5 runs an over and batting that slow doesnt seem right to me
end of the year in SA....![]()

Enough said.In a situation such as this, you would rather see a batsman perishing through his adventure than his team perishing through his lack of it.
I'm afraid he doesn't. Kallis is made for tests - not the modern ODI game.Exactly......
And Kallis has got the skill to lift his strike rate....![]()
