no i know but thats what im saying, he has his amazing inning's and then does nothing inbetween but go out cheaply

when gibbs is good he is amazing and the best ive ever seen :)

pity he cant do alot more often

What you say is true. Consistency is the key. I guess I should change my vote to Hayden and Smith then :)
 
Commentators on the Radio over here reporting on the Aus/WI game got into Kallis about his selfish playing .... hard times for Captain Slow.

Also dont like th fact Mickey Arthur refuses to comment on Kallis. They are representing SA so why can they not be questioned, especially from the man who refuses to sing the national anthem for whatever undisclosed reason ....

I am really worried about the Super 8 Stages now. Basically all the top teams have a head start. We need to win 5/6 to push on through to the next round. I think Aus can do us a favour and beating everyone else to try and level the playing field.
 
Score update please. I can't believe SABC isn't showing such a big match live.

PS. Is it possible to get DStv for like a month and then cancel?
 
Yeah Mickey Arthur should be lambasted for refusing to comment - they're supposed to be representing our country, not playing for themselves. We deserve to know what is going on with our team.

The anthem thing hmmm... I wouldn't really hold it against him. I have my reasons for not wanting to sing it as well.
 
This is true. They just talking in the studio...DL might well come into this one then.

Fair enough, but he represents S.A on the international stage, What kind of a message does that send out?

SABC are cheapskate wankers - they broadcast the group games because it no doubt cost less to purchase broadcasting rights to the smaller games.

True, being in the public eye internationally he should put his reasons aside and just sing it even though he may not agree with it.
 
Anyone prefer listening to the cricket on the radio over watching it on the tele? Or maybe i'm the only warped one :D
 
Aussies have scored 4 x 300's in there 4 games so far. They are really batting well.

Hayden is certaintly on a mission over there in the Carribean.

Hope they can pull this game of against the windies.......

I wish it didtn rain though. I like games to be fair and square - hate this duckworht lewis stuff.

Funny thing is that they have lost two games where they made more than 300 and they never seem that safe. Like SA should have chased down their score the other day. And this is despite a good bowling attack. i don't get it.
 
Hehe ..... perhaps, watching it on the tele takes all imagination out of it :D

Anyway, Sri Lanka tomorrow.

They are an awesome team. They've got good batsmen and a solid bowling line up with Vaas aka Captain Death , Malinga the Slinger and of course Murali. Vaas has a knack of knocking over Smith LBW early on.

My changes for the team. Captain Slowmo can stay but bring him in early only if there is a collapse and the innings needs to be rebuillt.

Drop Prince for Bosman.
And try to squeeze Nel in there somewhere. Nel bowls well to the left handed batsmen.

I'd say smith and de villiers as a combo and seperately look in top form.. heck if they can continue and others can put on a decent performance we gonna rip thru everyone. Thats the one positive out of saturday's match and if they continue in form i think we'll make it to final( hope fully other guys will support them unlike sat)
