did u see that one scene, when they showed a portion of the stadium...
and the spectators were all grouped together under the shade areas, and only two ppl were in the sun, getting a tan... was tooo funny! but it showed how empty the stadium was!

When the world cup was here, every game at newlands and paarl was jam packed! well, at least 90% full!

And they will be for the pro20 at the end of the year as well :D

i wonder how -ve that bang nrr is gonna be after the games are done :D

I think that Bangladesh will beat Ireland though.

4 sure...they've got a good team! imagine Bangladesh in two world cups time with the same squad!!! they'll be a force to be reckon'ed with... but still long time till then... and the next month is more important :D

windies its simple

get gale and lara you beat the windies

nz are going to be strong in this world cup as long if they keep batting well

Yeah, SA , OZ and NZ definitely the best teams out there now.

Windies dont look like they are gonna make it...

Yeah it'd be nice for them to make the semis for the sole reason of bigger crowds. I mean if Windies are not there, nobody is gonna fork out $100 just to watch a match. Whoever came up with that pricing must've had too much Jamaican rum.

US $?

Yeah, the South African government should take note of what is happening in the West Indies about the number of supporters at the ground. I read in the Cape Argus today that only 6000 spectators turned up at 19000 seater ground - and this was the match between Australia and the West Indies!

Also another problem seems to be that some of the stadiums are built out of town yet there is no transport to take the supporters there, exacerbating the problem!
