To all you guys that are backing Bangladesh today - i hope your toilet gets blocked today. lol.
Anyway, certaintly wont take any game for granted. I'd like to see another 300+ runs followed up by some good bowling from the less experienced of the Aussie bowlers.

hehe.

And I would like to see OZ not get 300 for once. I don't really think Bangladesh have a chance, but it would be great to see an upset :)

lol some of these callers on SABC have negative IQs. How many freakin' times do they have to be told the same thing? Switch your TVs off or put the volume down when you phone in? And theres like 10 different people bringing up the same point! Kas said it once, SABC only has the rights to broadcast certain games live, it's no use phoning in and b1tching on live TV, that's not gonna help anything.

If I was on that ground I would be p1ssed. I would demand my $100 back.

Think the minnows have a better chance in 22 overs than the whole 50.

I saw that sad excuse for a sponge and yeah it is pretty pathetic. I mean you'd think that for a World Cup they'd be more prepared. And also the ticket prices, restrictions on what you can bring to the ground, the "prison" rule i.e. once you enter you cant leave you gotta pay again to re-enter if you do leave and also the whole transport situation and even incomplete grounds are all making this a pretty k@k world cup. Definitely not the Caribbean cup I expected.

On one of those grounds (think the Aus match) there is even a new parking lot next to the ground. The commentators discussed it and wondered why it isn't been use. Spectators have to walk kilometers from were they parked there car.

Ponting said...

"I know they had a machinery breakdown which didn't help things," added Ponting. "But I went and spoke to the umpires at one stage, and they said the groundstaff were on their lunchbreak. That was little more time that was killed."

At various stages of the day, the mopping-up operation was reduced to near farce, not least when the groundstaff attempted to soak up the water using torn-off squares of sponge. "They didn't have enough of those to dry the ground," said Ponting. "But the umpires handled it well, and we started at a sensible time when the ground was in good enough shape."

I love the bit where it says that the groundstaff were on lunch... lol.
And of course the sponge bit, thats just funny.

Anyway easy win for OZ last night in crappy pro20 game.
