I hate the bottons that you have to press/pull or turn on german cars! Has a certain old-man feeling to it and i always forget to turn them off again, stupid i sayNot to derail this thread, but I never liked those extremely busy stalks on many Japanese (east-block) cars.
No it doesnt. KW cannot be the only judgment on weather car will outrun another.

Nobody mentions torque at all? Kilowatt definitely isn't the only factor for 0-100, etc.

lion fish: Dont know what your budget is but if I was you, I will wait for the Focus RS. Gonna cost in the 25 000 range.
It's got 300Bhp (225Kw) and 400+Nm torque. Apparently 0-60mph in less than 6 seconds. Looks great too.
I admit that I will first wait till the car is tested by motoring magazines because 300Bhp is a lot of power to go through only the front wheels . The quaife LSD and ReVonuckle sounds great but the real world is another story.
