What a pathetic attitude to have though. I mean here are people from Cape Town, in Cape Town, vehemently cheering for a team from like 10000kms away, playing against their home team.

I just don't get it!

You sure it wasn't New Zealanders shouting for their team? The Newlands crowd is normally very partisan!!!
 
Well-deserved win by the Sharks, pathetic play by the Bulls (especially in the last half) and lots of foul play from both sides, but especially from the Bulls. Was completely uncalled for :mad:

maybe if we withdraw all the south african sides from the super14 and just let the springboks play - hopefully we can then compete against the new zealand teams.

sorry about the negativity, but being a stormers supporter i really am getting tired of supporting a team every year that performs so far below their potential (they just seem clueless)

still supporting the stormers, but my hope is with the sharks
 
The South African supporters for the Crusaders are the coloured mense, my people. During apparheid years a lot fo coloureds moved to NZ. Nowadays there is still quite a strong tie between the coloured mense and NZ'ers. But that whole thing has changed somehow and today the younger ouens just support new zealand cause the rock. I am coloured but I dont necessarily support the NZ'ers. I support whoever I have bet on..... and this weekend, it just so happened that I had money riding on the NZ teams... the crusaders and the blues both came home for me making the handicap but they made me sweat. I have NO idea why the Crusaders struggled with the Stormers adn same goes for the blues game. Both those games should have been a hiding!!!
 
If last year was a dream year this year is going to be an absolute nightmare... SA teams battling with the ELV's...

PS I hope all the fickle Stormers fans get behind their team now that they have won a game, and won it well... and I wonder who "Natas" had his money on for this game... I hope the Reds and I hope he lost a fortune! Betting against the team from the country of your birth is shocking. Even the Bangledeshis bet on their team to beat SA! But then again we may be talking about the same sort of people here who I have seen at Kingsmead for the cricket take off their Indian cricket shirts and show their South African t-shirts underneath when SA start whipping India in a one dayer!

i will never understand why people only support a team when they win...thats not being supportive...

i think that most of the fickle fans will be praising the stormers now and the others will probably say the game was won by luck...

i support the stormers no matter what and am proud of the hard work they put into today's game...
