Are there dynod that read flywheel power in SA?
They call it a rolling road for a reason, it calculates wheel power and torque.

GTis generally push more wheel power than VW claimed compared to others that try and catch their manufacturers power claims.

For some or other nearly all dyno's in the coastal regions will quote you flywheel power, yet up here we go on wheel power. Then dont forget you also get a load dyno and an inertia dyno, that will give different readings for the same car.

Also wanna know. More to the point what was the hold up. Car Mag & other publications had & tested them a months back. Hell I even checked one in detail over two months back

Yeah no idea what the hold up was. Probably waiting for the Rand to weaken more :) Yep got pricing from Honda.

Crazy, soon , if not already, Hot Hatches will only be for the rich. I certainly cant afford a car of R586K, and I'm not sure I am actually prepared to pay that for a car.

 They may have to hedge for the weakness of the Rand.

Might as well get the A45 at that price.

A little off topic in the Civic thread but Ford have a dilemma here. If they push the price too far, the RS and Mustang compete. Not ideal for the blue oval.

Well, Top Gear reckons the RS ticks all the same boxes the Type R and A45 do, and then adds a whole new dimension. The term "game-changer" was used.

+1, though I can't stomach an A45 at the asking price either, would much rather go for the Golf R (or even the Civic Type R)

Even if they do the RS will still sell. **** knows why though, Mustang err'day.
