Insignia Grand Sport will be something else : http://www.autoevolution.com/news/o...s-on-the-new-insignia-grand-sport-112831.html

You might think LEDs have become the norm, but try buying a Volkswagen Golf and you'll be surprised to find out that the LED daytime running lights don't come standard. In fact, you won't get them even if you order the optional xenon lamps, but only on the top-spec lighting package (that still doesn't use LEDs for either low or high beams). And it's even worse in the premium segment.

The Opel Astra, on the other hand, offers intelligent LED headlights as an option, a system it calls IntelliLux that has similar capabilities to those found in Audis or Mercedes-Benzes.

Finally automotive journalists that gets it! :D

So to sum up :
The Golf is instantly recognisable is a boring car.
The Astra is more spacious and has more power.
DSG gearbox = broken gearbox
Inside the Golf is still boring, and rather ugly.
As always on a VW, everything is an optional extra.

The video is from RPM TV...you know as Topcar...many moons ago.

Dunno what happen to Mike Simpson...not heard or seen from him in any media outlet for ages.

Aaah then there is hope for them.

Although there is nothing wrong with my DSG.
