Yes that is a bit of a pain, I will most probably upgrade to a RS as well. I nearly did a impulse buy the same week, luckily sanity prevailed.

I baby my cars as well, but between the random trolleys that somehow find my car at parking lots although I park where there are no other cars.
As well as the girlfriend factor her knee high boots zipper scratched the inside of my drivers side.
But doing a chip and dent repair December for a early Xmas present

I drove to Hartbeespoort on Saturday and surprisingly saw 3 other Meganes during the day. Since I'm normally in the car I don't often see how beautiful it is. But man the car looks beautiful on the road.

My fake engine sound that plays over the speakers when in sports mode randomly activated yesterday, I surprisingly liked it but cant for the life of me find where to activate it again.
Under my multi sense "Engine Sound Design" is on Sport but nothing.
I tried everything in every single menu and went through the rlink manual and drivers manual and still cant find a way to activate it.
Does anyone know how to activate it again ?

I've never gotten mine to work. When I take it in for a service later in the year I'll ask them about it because it's set to on but I don't really hear a difference.

Just got back from Renault they dont seem to know either. Apparently there is a guy that would know but he is only getting back in 2 weeks from holiday.

Renault will launch a petrol-electric Megane as part of an extensive facelift of the Ford Focus rival, expected to be revealed in September
Renault will unveil an updated Megane later this year, with a plug-in hybrid variant, due as part of the firm's rapid electrification expansion, spotted for the first time.
The Ford Focus rival first went on sale in 2016, but the competition has moved on since then. A new Ford Focus has since arrived, with the next-generation Volkswagen Golf and Seat Leon due next year. Renault updated the Kadjar SUV late last year, recently revealed a tweaked Koleos, and will launch an all-new Clio and Captur later this year.
Like the mechanically-related Kadjar, expect a subtle design evolution for the updated Megane. The front end bears the most disguise, suggesting alterations to the grille, headlights and bumper. At the rear, a reshaped tailgate and LED lighting profile will help to foster the familiar resemblance with the 2019 Clio.

Last we heard, the facelifted Mégane was due to launch in South Africa as early as March 2020.

Renault has given its Megane hatchback some mid-life mascara and a technological reboot in order to face up to the eighth-generation Golf.
Not much has changed from a design perspective, although there is a new front bumper as well as fresh LED headlights and taillights, which are now standard across the board, while Renault has also thrown three new exterior colours into the mix. What’s more, Renault is replacing the GT Line trim grade with the sportier RS Line package that brings various design enhancements inside and out, including a honeycomb lower grille, unique 17” and 18” wheel options as well as more supportive sports seats and alloy pedals.
On the engine front the most exciting news is an upgrade to the RS model’s 1.8-litre turbo engine, which now produces 220kW in standard guise, which is up 15kW on the previous model. The EDC version also gets an extra 30Nm, for 420Nm in total, versus the 400Nm offered by the manual model. In addition, the performance hatch gains a new RS Monitor, which displays a multitude of vehicle parameters in real time.

Renault Mégane: design chief explains why hatch could end up being axed
Renault’s design boss has suggested the future of the Mégane hatchback is uncertain as the French firm turns its focus (and development budget) towards electric vehicles.
Speaking to Auto Express, Renault head of design Laurens van den Acker said the Mégane was playing in a shrinking segment.
“Inevitably, once we’re starting to add a range of EVs to our line-up, some of the other vehicles are going to have to go because we just can’t afford to develop all of this at the same time,” Van den Acker told the publication.
