To be fair the Lions have played the more enterprising rugby tonight. Maori's have been comprehensively outplayed. The Lions simply haven't let them play.

The Lions's backline attack is just too slow compared to typical NZ rugby. The Lions have no explosive speed to punch through a gap.

I don't think that's quite right. Te'o and Davies got numerous line breaks, mostly off Sexton attacking the gain line. Add in Joseph and Watson and they've got serious attacking potential.
