My contract is going to expire in December. Do I qualify for this special? Can I renew it now?

This might be a dumb question, but how do you know when your contract expires? The statements don't tell you. Also is that number free from a Telkom land line? My only 8ta sim card is the one for the 10gb deal, and I can't even call your help line with that.

The only way of knowing is by calling 081 180
And it's free from 8ta number

So I'm on 10gig promo. Can I use my SIM card in a LTE modem. Will I get LTE or do I need a special sim/contract?

I did just now. I received the call i think because of Telkom Mobile rep intervention. My contract is only ending on 21st of December.
But they still renewed my contract effective from 1st October.


So has anybody renewed their contract with this special?

I phoned the 081 180 number and they didn't seem to have a clue about this special offer..but my contract only ends in April 2014

May be they will still allow for renewal like they did for me. Mine expiring 21st December 2013.

@TelkomMobile What about existing prepaid users can we not take advantage of this promotion on a month-to-month basis without all the vetting.
