Called 183 and 180 and they said they only offer at R299. Please call me at 076 345 4500 and I can provide my details. My contract is ending in a month and I'm having to decide between Afrihost, 8ta and ADSL...
I'm currently paying R199 + R100 for 10+10gb
So when I upgrade all I am going to pay is R200 for 10+10gb?

Cancelled my contract in July as it had run the 24 months and Cellc’s giga package suited my needs better. Kind of disappointed that I missed out on this deal, would definitely have renewed it if I was offered this deal.

You got a call? Wow, been online for two weeks to sort out end of contract option. Now i see my contract was terminated early. No one can tell me why.
Afrihost, otoh, have been amazing, answering every query.......its a pity, i have had really good service from 8ta til now.

This really annoys, about this renewal deal .. and given what I've gone thru with TM in the past 2 weeks.
My previous 2 year .. 10 + 10 @ R299.00pm Internet Promo was due to expire on the 31st of July this year. At no time was I contacted by TM about renewing my contract. I called the 081 180 number enquiring about the renewal process, .. and was advised to go to my nearest TM branch, .. as I would have to sign a new contract. I signed my new 2 year 10+10 contract on the 2nd of July.
In August I was debited .. R399.00!!! i.e. an additional R100.00. The R399.00 was reversed by my bank, as the account I use for the debit order, is ONLY used for TM debits, and every month R300.00 is transferred to that account for the TM debit. Even after I paid the CORRECT amount (299.00) manually, .. my service was suspended.
When enquiring about this additional R100.00 I was informed that according to their billing, .. I now had a 10Gb normal + 20Gb night surfer, and that they could see that there was an error, and would credit the R100.00.
The story I was given, for the error, .. was that you no longer had the option for the additional 10 Gb night surfer, and that the minimum price now .. was R299.00 which included the night surfer. However, their Computer System picked up that as I had had the night surfer option on my previous contract .. it added it to my R299.00 package.
However, .. even when they said I 'technically' had 10Gb + 20Gb .. when I logged into my account to check my remaining data etc., it only showed 10Gb + 10Gb. It did show some Free Unlimited WiFi thing at 10Gb, .. which made me wonder if there wasn't some confusion about his whole thing.
So, after getting the R100.00 credited, paying what was really due into Absa, .. and after extreme difficulty in getting my service re-instated .. there is still some doubt as to what my debit is going to be this month i.e. 299 or 399.
Dialling 181 180 and pressing 1 for Invoice balance, .. I am informed that 399.00 is due on the 30th of September. However, speaking to an agent today .. he informs me that my balance due is R299.00. So, who knows what is going to happen with that debit.
So, the real question is .. why was I not made aware of this offer to LOYAL customers?
Why am I still paying R299.00?, when I should be paying R199.00 .. Was the additional R100 I was billed, an error for a 10+20, when it should have been added .. for FREE?
It seems to me that TM agents are really uninformed/misinformed, .. and unfortunately, I seem to be paying the price for that.
TM & their collection agency, .. debited my account in an amount of over R2,000.00 in a 10 day period .. once by TM (402,23), and twice by their collection agency (801,26+801,26), the latest one being debited AFTER I had paid the correct amount outstanding (302,23) a few days earlier. What made the situation worse, .. is that they were double-debiting me .. i.e. amount outstanding plus the R399.00 (wrong amount), .. that was only due on the 30th of September. These amounts were all unpaid, as they were in excess of the R310.00 balance in that account. Subsequently, I have paid over R60 in penalties for unpaid items.
I would appreciate it, if the TM rep in this forum can kindly advise me, as to why I'm paying 299.00 for a 10 + 10, .. and NOT 199.00, .. and why, IF I'm paying 299.00, .. why am I NOT getting the additional 10 Gb night surfer for free.
