25 hottest Upcoming sci-fi Movie trailers!

But these movies aren't Sci-Fi! Only the Tron remake can be called Sci-Fi, all the others are either fantasy or horror. What a dumb article :(

Indeed i was about to say, most of these movies are HORROR . Big big difference. Not so many true sci-fi movies in that list to be honest. Tron and Skyline being almost the only ones! (I'll let Resident Evil count too)

This article only shows that there are in fact very little sci-fi movies coming out!

...and really..Yogi Bear, Tangled...sci-fi? wtf? Just because it has "3D" and "Animation" in it's titles, does not make it Sci-Fi

ja, good point. This is the Hollywood definition of Sci-fi... what the broader public regards as "anything weird"

Strictly speaking... even Star Wars is not Sci-fi. It's more like Space Opera.

Sci-fi should deal with movies that push the technological envelope... where a major premise of the movie depends on technology not yet invented or reproducible.
 
I'm just keen for Resident Evil : Afterlife....

They're schlock movies of note, but great entertainment....
 
Did they really fusk up the Harry Potter story that badly?

Why do you ask that?

They have cut out some of the minor parts of the storyline, but nothing that really affects the plot significantly and usually for the sake of time.

I think they have done a pretty good of bringing the books to the screen. Better than most conversions.

But yeah... they books are always waaaaaay better.
 
Hatchet 2 has more on screen kills than any other slasher film in history-apparently.
 
Resident Evil, Skyline & TRON are the only ones that look like sci-fi to me.

Been reading them again, and was keen to watch the movies, but I have read though some synopsis's, and I think I could let it inconsistencies slid lol
