2TB Anytime data

This is my speed ATM. During day it drops abit to the 90's.. But I Want to try the 612 as well.. With the Band Tool I cannot seem to get 40mhz 40+40. I think our tower don't allow it.

Thanks to everyone that helped with the bands, as I mentioned this problem cropped up days before changing from "uncapped" LTE which I had for years to the 2TB telkom deal. There seems to be a massive LTE issue in Pretoria, so I after changing bands and nothing changing I think I just need to wait it out. Unless someone has another suggestion.

Atleast down detector has id this an issue

Which modem routers (preferably the latest/ new ones sold by Telkom) from Telkom has the Telkom 2300mhz besides the B618 65D?

My Huawei 315S came from Telkom with the old "uncapped" 300Gb LTE deal.

Edit Managed to force it onto 2300mhz. Can't recall option previously? No option for 40+40.

Would this be a better option than fibre from Vuma or Open Serve. In our area they offer R399 for (20/10)

Fibre is generally better than LTE. The speed tests here have great download speed, but upload is terrible. If you and your wife/gf/dog wants to do Teams/Zoom simultaneously, the entire connection might end up suffering due to lower upload speed.

Fibre has better upload speeds, so for WFH, fibre would probably be better. If you plan on just Netflix, you can stick with LTE.
