We will be offering it.

Dev is still working on the code to include it in our system. You will be able to upgrade to it and new clients will be able to get a sim only delivered for free just like the current simcards.

That's awesome news! Highly likely I'll sign up when it becomes available.

I used to be able to transfer data to my two prepaid SIM, and seriously considering this 2 Tb package,

Anyone keen to try test the data transfer?

Happy to pm the Telkom number to try it out if anyone me keen to assist
Send me a pm

Will the 2tb afrihost package also run on telkom network?

Hi AfriNatic sorry to bother but I have a quick question for you. I believe a customer on your system can pause their "monthly subscription/payment" before the 15 of the month and then restart it again the following month. Am I understanding this correctly? So would it be possible if you have extra rollover data from the current month to pause for the following month and then restart payments again at a later date(next month)? :)

If this is the case and the offer is the same price as Telkom's then I'm swapping over without second thoughts to you guys. We don't remotely use all the 2TB and if we could pause every second month to cut costs, that would be amazing.

As a matter of interest, would that process that I described above be frowned upon, or would it be ok to do? :)

I've only ever seen the options to either cancel or move up / down to another package.

If there is an option to ''pause" my current MTN one running on Afrihost's portal, then I'll gladly do so because I'm currently set to cancel it end of this month as already bought Telkom LTE on Axxess (double my current data allocation for only R50 / month more).

@AfriNatic - re "pausing" Afrihost LTE packages ??

Hi,

We only offer the Pause for up to 6 months on Air Mobile Data only packages.

We do not offer this for Telkom fixed LTE and MTN Fixed LTE unfortunately.

Hi,

Fixed LTE is meant as a monthly service for your home where Airmobile is for mobile devices and for this reason we offer this feature. With Telkom we sell simcards on a per deal bases as a reseller and can't control data allocations like we can with Air mobile on MTN.

Anyone else being throttled to 1Mbps on Netflix and YouTube? It would default to 4K the last 2 weeks but now I’m lucky if it hits 720p. I haven’t even touched June data yet as I have rolled over data from May.

Mine seems okay, just watched a half hour vid at 1440.

I manually switched bands to band 1 and it's working fine for now. It seems band 40 is problematic for me. I need to get a B618-65d. Anyone know someone selling one, please let me know.

What router are you using?
