Yup every time I consider Fibre I stop short of going through with it because it just can't be beaten for value for money.
Also we have had likely less than 20 hours down time.

Yea I am on day 4 of a fibre outage......
Can you not try and get a multisim?
No idea havent tried others can let me know

Just went to a newer telkom store and they could not put multisim on the 2TB deal
Seems some branches say it can be done and some cannot
upgraded to the 2tb data but they said i can only get the multisim next month on the 1st of december so il be going back on the 1st
That doesnt make any sense. You are able to get a multi sim instantly on the other data packages.
also happened when i took my 180gb and requested a multisim they said i had to wait a Month

You've been deceived or misunderstood. LTE 2TB T&Cs clearly state that "34. Multi-SIM and Data Multi-SIM shall not be allowed on 2TB LTE Data Plan." It also clearly states this in FAQs as:
"44. Is multi-SIM and data multi-SIM supported on 2TB LTE Data Plan offer?
Multi-SIM and data multi-SIM are not supported on 2TB LTE Data Plan Offer."

Has anybody managed to get a multi-sim on the 2TB deal?
Still on telkom wow...
still having zero issues after 12 years (was on the 3G service zero issues before this) so why change? Cant beat that price/speed. Total downtime likely less than 2-4 hours TOTAL

Yes I have an Afrihost 20mb Uncapped Pure LTE package at one place that is beyond belief kak.
Problem is that is in a valley surrounded by peaks and hills. Signal strength is great, but the product is toss.
Vodacom at that place is 0 signal.
Is there any way one can see a map of towers in your area, so as to try another sim with another provider?
I have tested all of them with prepaid sims and MTN came out best, then they started with their kak.

Has Telkom been kind of trash for anyone in the last few days? Twitch doesn't even stream at all in the evenings. Works ok in off-peak hours. During peak hours like now (after 10pm though), it's just buffering forever (on low res too - 480p).
Youtube seems to work fine. So maybe it's Twitch being throttled or something?

I was just at the Telkom shop. For my 180+180 I got a multi-sim.
I asked about the 2 TB at R699 per month. Was told multi-sim is not available. The 2TB is available on month-to-month sim only at R699. I might pull the trigger on this one anyway - just waiting till November's BF.
